Sarah Foster

Sarah Foster is Red River Métis and a co-founding member of the Manitoba Métis Federation Bison Local. With strong kinship ties to the Huppe, Ward, Berard, Morin, Lavallee, and Cyr families, Sarah brings extensive lived experience and cultural knowledge to her work. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Manitoba and is currently completing her Master of Social Work in Indigenous Knowledges at the University of Victoria. As a Board Director for Bison on the Red, a non-profit organization championing Métis inclusion and land-based education. Sarah is deeply passionate about promoting the rights and well-being of Red River Métis families and youth. She is a dedicated Ongoing Care worker committed to promoting change and supporting individuals and families in achieving their full potential.
