I am Joel Gamache, a proud Red River Métis man and passionate educator. I have been teaching since 2015, while also serving as a learning support facilitator, Administrator and Divisional Supervisor. Currently, I manage a national non-profit portfolio supporting Indigenous youth in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. I was raised on a small farm in Manitoba, where my family and I were always connected to the land. I have fostered countless land-based educational opportunities during this time and continue to develop more across Canada. I credit my educational approach to my family’s values and teachings handed down to me.
